Overview

Import your existing club data into ToastHost from other systems like EasySpeak or spreadsheets.

Supported Import Sources

EasySpeak

Import data from EasySpeak including:

  • Member information
  • Meeting history
  • Role assignments

CSV/Spreadsheet

Import from Excel or CSV files:

  • Member lists
  • Payment records
  • Historical data

Importing from EasySpeak

Step 1: Export from EasySpeak

  1. Log into EasySpeak
  2. Navigate to export options
  3. Download your club data
  4. Save the file(s)

Step 2: Import into ToastHost

  1. Go to Club Setup > Import Data
  2. Select "EasySpeak" as source
  3. Upload the exported file(s)
  4. Review the import preview
  5. Confirm and import

Step 3: Verify Data

After import:

  • Check member list completeness
  • Verify meeting history
  • Confirm role history accuracy

Importing from Spreadsheets

Preparing Your Data

Format your spreadsheet with columns:

  • Name (required)
  • Email (required)
  • Phone (optional)
  • Join Date (optional)
  • Status (optional)

Step 1: Download Template

  1. Go to Club Setup > Import Data
  2. Download the CSV template
  3. Fill in your data following the template format

Step 2: Upload and Import

  1. Upload your prepared CSV file
  2. Map columns to ToastHost fields
  3. Preview the import
  4. Confirm and process

Step 3: Review Results

Check for:

  • Import success count
  • Any failed records
  • Duplicate handling

Tips

  • Clean your data before importing
  • Remove duplicates from source data
  • Back up your original data
  • Import in test mode first if available
  • Document any manual adjustments needed

Common Questions

Will import overwrite existing data?

Import typically adds new records. Duplicates are handled based on email matching.

Can I import meeting history?

Yes, for supported formats. Check the import options for historical data.

What if some records fail?

Review the error report, fix issues in your source file, and re-import failed records.
