Why a member's name or email sometimes looks masked

Members control how much of their name and email the public and fellow club members see (see Controlling Your Visibility). As an officer of your club, you always see the full details of your own club's members and guests.

Visibility is scoped to the club you hold office in. If you look at someone through a different club — one where you're a regular member, not an officer — you see only what they've chosen to show that club's members. So the same person can appear with full details on your club's roster and a masked name or hidden email on another club's pages. This is expected behaviour, not a bug.

Tips for Officers

  • Keep member data up to date
  • Use templates to save time on meeting setup

  • Back up important data periodically
